How the Talking Tom Finale paved the way for me being into Disney and into being a cartoonist

For privacy reasons, I have only included the picture of my
birthday cake

This post is dedicated to my 20th birthday, and for childhood nostalgia purposes.

During the golden age of my childhood, from 2008 until 2011, when I was 2 to 5 years old, I grew up with traditional cartoons, as well as religious devotions like the Santo Nino. At the time, I really grew up with traditional educational hand drawn cartoons and storybooks. My favorites as a 4 year old in 2010 was Alice in Wonderland (1951) and Snow White (1937). As I became an elementary student, I only relocated these memories to the past and moved on, watching the latest modern cartoons. In 2016, and with intervals, my favorite cartoon was Talking Tom And Friends.
I really enjoyed the series, especially Seasons 1 to 3. I only got acquainted with Seasons 4 to 5 in July 2020 during the COVID lockdown, and I planned on making YTP style parodies of them, but to no avail.
In July 2021, (approximately?) I watched tarpaulins of  babies here in my country commemorating their baptisms with the themes of various cartoon characters. I have planned on watching these cartoons right after the season finale of Talking Tom, but unfortunately, Typhoon Odette intervened. As a result, I felt weak and ashamed to watch the new cartoons.

In 2022, I became a traditionalist Catholic and distinguished modern from traditional classic cartoons. In July of 2023, I watched Alice in Wonderland again after a 13 year hiatus, followed by Snow White in July of 2024, and almost all of Disney in September to October 2024. As a result, in February 2023, I asked the famous traditionalist site Tradition In Action to make a review of TIA (1).

In July 2025, I created my first cartoon character, Catalina Santos, adapted out from a design by a former Disney animator. I created her as an alternative to Disney princesses being promoted in the Philippines as well as for the defense of Traditional Catholic values.

If it was not for the series finale of the Talking Tom show, I would have still been in the Novus Ordo or worse, not being a cartoonist.
